Butterfly Eyes - Inspiration

What’s up beautiful people 🤗I have been seeing a lot of people doing butterfly 🦋 eyes lately and I wanted to give it a shot!
This entire look was created using the ‘I Think I Love You’ and the ‘Yes Please’ palettes from Colourpop, and it took me about 3-4 hours to complete. It definitely isn’t the most time-efficient project, but if you have a lot of time on your hands, this is a great look to try out! You can do any combination of colors from the palettes you have 😊
The hardest part of this look was the blending of the red, orange, and yellow, but I completed the second eye faster once I figured out how I wanted to place the eyeshadow 😎 Depending on your eye shape 👀, the curves of your butterfly wing may be different. I love this look because there are several different ways to do it and customize it to make the look your own!
Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried to do butterfly eyes and how it turned out or what colors you’d want to use! 💕

I have not ever tried anything crazy with my eyes but would love to but think I would fail miserably because I'm know artist. But this looks amazing

Wow that is so gorgeous! I am not talented enough to do something like that. My youngest who is 13 does stuff like this all the time. So cute.

Great job I would definitely have a hard time just trying to do this, but you did a great job and I would love to try this out just to practice

So cute! I love butterflies! I can't really remember me trying a make up trend. I usually just do a netral, plain look. I've tried a few hairs trends before though. Like I did bangs which was a disaster lol.

WoW! That's a lot of detailed work you've accomplished! It looks absolutely incredible! I can honestly say you could pull off this dramatic look and would receive compliments because of your precise and accurate attention to details while copying exactly how the butterfly looks or is I should say. Incredible job!! Thanks for sharing such talent!! 😊😊

So beautiful! I love butterflies and dragonflies. For some reason when I go outside they both flock to me. I have taken pics of butterflies and dragonflies landing on my foot, my hand or my shoulder.

I love the butterfly look on you and it would be great for going clubbing but at my age it would look strange on me. This is a look for younger generation and I wish I was younger again to try it out. Great review and nice look.

That is so beautiful! I love your color choices because they suit you so perfectly, and looks realistic, and classy, great post! Well the Cat Eye Look trend that's been going on forever worked for me since day one many moons ago, so I stick to what works for me, on the other hand I tried the Cut Crease on my hooded eyes, and it takes a lot to make it work for my eye shape, so I just refrain from it because it's too time consuming, so I stick to easier to achieve looks that suit my eye shape much better.

I love this adorable butterfly eye look!! I’ve been seeing rly unique and graphic eyeliner looks on IG recently, and have been trying to recreate them (spoiler: to little success😂). I recently tried a negative space eye liner look using a black liner, but found it to be too harsh for me. I think if I were to try it again, I would def go for a brighter/lighter color to open up space on the eyelid!
