Clove + Hallow’s Hydratint Is Moisturizing and Pigmented Like a Dream

What is it about liquid cheek color that makes me so happy? I was a Dr. Perricone No Blush Blush fiend before I switched over to natural products.  I love the simplicity of being able to swipe it on and pat it in – brush optional. But the market for a true liquid blush in the green world was pretty limited, until now.
Meet Hydratint.
This liquid blush is housed in a nail polish-like bottle (the applicator is a brush like a polish, too). The shade Nakey is a peachy-nude color. 💕I have so many pink based blushes – what can I say, I’m a creature of habit! 💕I finally decided to break that streak and branch out. Boyyy, am I glad that I did, because this shade is just too pretty!
With my former love of Perricone, I expected this to be similar in formulation. In some ways it is, however this is so much more pigmented. Why would I expect anything less from Clove + Hallow? Seriously, everything they make packs some serious bang for your buck. (See my review on their concealer here.) It’s so lightweight in texture though, and blends like a dream.
🎨I also have the shade Blossom, a soft nude baby pink. This adds just the right amount of color without competing with the rest of your makeup.
💕The formula is surprisingly simple, containing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and meadowfoam which hydrate and lock moisture into the skin. One ingredient, PVP, is not ‘natural’; it’s a water soluble plasticizer. Fear not though: it’s rated a 1 on the EWG SkinDeep database.
Much like my other Clove + Hallow loves, this wears comfortably and beautifully all day long. I can’t wait to try some of the other shades!
