DIY: Homemade Tea Tree Toner

Hey everyone! Here is the recipe for the tea tree toner from @itsblitzz that is an absolutely essential part of my skincare routine. You can use any spray bottle, but I prefer to use a glass bottle.

2 oz distilled water
3 drops tea tree oil
2 drops peppermint oil
1 drop eucalyptus oil
1 drop rosemary oil

Make sure to shake the bottle well before every use, and spray liberally around the face.

Do you use a toner? Do you DIY any of your beauty or skincare products? Let me know what kind in the comments below!

I use cosmedica skincare hydrate & toner & cosmedica vitamin C prep & toner. Along with a couple of serums & my moisturizers & eyecreams. About 6 months ago I got really into perfecting my face routine. LOL.... I've got so much stuff now it's ridiculous. I just want what's perfect for me. I didn't know that you could use tea tree oil on your face?! Thanks for sharing this with us.

looks like you used a lot of healthy stuff when you sprayed it looked so refreshing especially in this hot humid heat . but i dont really know what a toner does i though it is something that you only use at night after you take off your makeup and wash your face . can any one explain what this does for the skin ?

Thanks for sharing! I do a few different do it yourself beauty items, but I've never done a toner. Now I want to. I typically make scrubs for face, hands, feet, and lips. All using quality oils and top ingredients that work well on my sensitive skin.

I also make a clay mask out of Fuller's Earth and two drops of tea tree oil for my kids acne. And it clears her acne up followed by vitamin-e cream.

I use rose water as a good toner, hydrated my skin.

Thank you!! I love a good DIY. My favorite right now is hair products. I make a hair mask from clay with essential & carrier oils + aloe vera. It's fun! πŸ’œ

I love to try these DOY oil sprays. I have such dry areas on my face this would help so much. Where do I purchase the oils that I need to use in the water??

I run a small essential oil business and I make custom essential oil rollers, skincare, body care, hair care diffuser bracelets and much more. Essential oils are amazing for the skin especially Tea Tree. Tea Tree is an antibacterial and can clear skin up so well. Clary sage is good for your skin and many other oils.

I absolutely love using products with Tea Tree in them! I've never made my own Tea Tree Toner before but I am totally going to try now. I have eczema that breaks out on my face from time to time so luckily Tea Tree helps treat and sooth the skin on my face. I like to use a few Korean Skincare Products. I use essenHERB "Tea Tree Foam Cleanser" first, then Huangjisoo "Tea-Tree Soothing Mask" followed by Purlisse "Matcha Green Tea Moisturizer". It's the best Soothing combination of products. Anywho, thank you for this extremely helpful tip and recipe. Keep up the great work! πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

This is awesome!! I love tea tree! It's so good for multiple reasons! Thanks for much for sharing your recipe! As for the Touch In Sol products, I seriously love all of it!! Lots of gorgeous shades and amazing products!! I would probably say I'm most interested in the liquid eyeshadow!! I actually just bought a liquid eyeshadow yesterday (not Touch in Sol 😭) but I love glittery, liquid eyeshadow!! Those shades are gorgeous!!!

Love this recipe! Thank you for sharing. I have used toners in the past and have recently just started using pixi skintreats Glow Tonic exfoliating toner and I'm fairly impressed with the way it leaves my combo, acne prone skin feeling and looking. I have used tea tree oil for many uses including; treating blemishes, in my hair (I add a few drops to my Shampoo in winter), and my all time favorite use fot tea tree oil is in a mixture I spray on as an insect repellent. It is a perfect all natural alternative to those heavy smelling drug store sprays and it leaves skin soft and smelling great. The recipe is as follows: in a spray bottle mix 1/4 cup almond or coconut oil, 1/4 cup distilled water, 3 drops tea tree oil, and 2 drops citronella oil (you can also use eucalyptus oil), shake well and spray skin generously. Enjoy your time in the great outdoors!

I'm interested in trying and/or buying the Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Soul Velvet Lipstick. I heard it's supposed to be a long-lasting and hydrating type of semi matte lipstick. As for tea tree products, I have tried the Avalon Organics Scalp Treatment Tea Tree Shampoo. It's a vegan product and doesn't contain any paraben nor other types of chemicals. Its main ingredient uses tea tree essential oil, soothing any irritation and leaving my hair feeling soft to the touch and healthy-looking. Very good for deep cleaning your scalp. I also like how the scent isn't too overpowering in any way.

Great idea with spray mist. Many uses for all these wonderful smelling oils. They can be used in the bath, very therapeutic for all your tense muscles.
