Elf Cosmetics Clarifying Booster Drops Review
I have been a fan of Elf cosmetics specifically their skincare for longer than I can remember. They were actually one of the very first brands I started using when I really got invested in my skincare routine. All of Elf's products are cruelty free and vegan as well as extremely affordable. I have tried every single one of their facial booster drops but today’s review will be on the clarifying booster drops. The two key ingredients in this product are tea tree and witch hazel.
Tea Tree benefits: Tea tree is a popular choice for treating acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It's thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. It may even help to prevent and reduce acne scars, leaving you with smooth, clear skin.
Witch Hazel: It acts as an astringent, causing your tissues to contract to help shrink pores, while also soothing your skin and relieving inflammation. This may prevent acne-causing bacteria from infecting your skin. Witch hazel is rich in tannins, a natural plant compound with powerful antioxidant properties that can help protect your skin against damage when applied topically.
My Experience: This serum is fantastic 👏🏿👏🏿 it comes in a small glass bottle with a dropper. I personally use one or two drops for my entire face which seems to be enough. The serum is really lightweight and absorbs instantly into my skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated and leaves it with a healthy glow. It also has a nice cooling effect when applied. There isn’t any tacky feeling and it works really well with other serums. Recently I have been mixing these clarifying booster drops with my vitamin C serum to give it a little extra boost and I have noticed great results in my skin. My skin has become clear and my complexion looks healthy. I have surely noticed less breakouts especially during that time of the month when my skin is at its worst. I think these booster drops are one of the best items elf has in their skincare repertoire. I highly recommend trying them out if you haven’t already. I will be writing reviews on the other booster drops they have available so stay tuned for that. They have four different types at the moment: Antioxidant, Hydrating, Sunkissed and Clarifying.
