EXFOLIATOR SHOWDOWN: Touch In Sol’s Mission Complete and Cremo’s 2 in 1 Scrub & Mask! I just received this new exfoliator from Touch In Sol and I wanted to put it against the test against the current one I’ve been using (Cremo).
My skin type
- dry, usually prone to flakiness and redness
💧TOUCH IN SOL Mission Complete: $22.00
Description: Black Charcoal Gel Mild Scrub A gentle exfoliating scrub that cleanses the surface of the skin, eliminates dead skin like and leaves smooth and luminous skin.
Description: Detoxify skin, draw out blackheads and reduce the appearance of pores with activated charcoal
💧TOUCH IN SOL - very lightweight, almost translucent when applied, a lot of scrub granules that are very fine
💙CREMO - thick, hard to spread, heavy, only a few scrub granules in the formula, which are large, can double as a mask
When using Cremo as a scrub I had to wet that side of my face, with In Sol I did not. The In Sol side quickly dissolved into my skin and I could feel it eradicated flaky dry skin, the Cremo side was a lot more work trying to get the granules to dissolve, but eventually spread evenly. I washed both sides off and immediately my skin felt clean and soft on both sides (picture 4). After waiting 10 minutes and applying a moisturizer, I took another picture and discovered my Cremo side looked a little more red and irritated.
Touch In Sol’s Mission Complete was a much more gentle exfoliator which I prefer for my sensitive skin and was easy to apply and wash off. Since the granules of Cremo were large it was difficult to get them to break down, and I ended up just washing some way. Even though Touch In Sol is a better product, it is not as budget-friendly as Cremo.
Glad to have my Touch in Sol Exfoliator from the PrismPop Tester Bag 💕 did you apply yet?? ❤️
Let me know what you use to exfoliate! 🌟

Thanks for this. I always wonder how the different products do against each other, not just how well the results are.

🌺🌺Touch in Sol sounds great for sensitive skin. It would be way more gentle. My skin needs all the care to not turn red and hurt. Thanks for the great review! 🌺🌺

the cremo looks very thick and the in touch in sol look water based . i can see from the pictures your skin looks red on side from the cremo . maybe the cremo is for oily skin or not for sensative or dry skin . based on your review i would want to to to try the touch in sol made scrub because it did not make your skin look red / irritated.

    Would love to try 😍😍

I don't usually exfoliate because I didn't know that much about what the benefits were. My skin is on the oily side so I would use the lighter product Touch in Sol.

  • Lady

It seems that the Touch In Sol is more for people who have sensitive skin since it is really light weigth!

Hi there, I currently use Lancôme Exfoliance Radiance Clarte. It claims to be refreshing and it’s more than true. It has wax micro beads that do an amazing job exfoliating resulting in a fresh clean feeling. Using this twice a week keeps my skin ready for perfect makeup application. I really would like to try the “ Mission Complete Scrub” for the smaller, fine granules which I prefer, and along with the other products needed to achieve that “ Glass like finish” for my facial skin. I have larger pores and new wrinkles that make me feel unattractive, so even a small difference would make me feel a little more confident.

You have such beautiful skin!! Would love to try these.

You have amazingly beautiful skin!!! Thanks for the detailed, helpful review. I've never tried those two. As for today's daily questions? I currently use Mario Badescu Botanical Exfoliating Scrub once a week and love it!! It has a nice clean, flowery smell and works well at getting rid of dead skin cells. I do think that the Mission Complete Mild Scrub would work great for me and am anxiously waiting to hear if I've been selected to try the amazing tester bag. Lately I've been having a few minor break outs (probably from sweating so bad) and a lot more oil build up. I think the Mission Complete Mild Scrub would work great for me! I would love to win a mini scrub to try and review for you guys. Praying I get a tester bag. I want one so bad that I've already been writing done ideas in my notebook for reviews, ect. Have a great day! 🌞

I rarely exfoliate my skin because I have sensitive skin. However I would love to try these products. With summer weather approaching, my skin will breakout. I am interested in trying new skincare products that won't dry out, or breakout my skin. Thank you for your feedback.

I am obsessed with exfoliating, not just my face but everywhere. To me my face doesnt feel clean if i don't use one. I am currently using Freemans charcoal and black sugar scrub/mask and it seems very similar to the Touch In Sol product.

Touch in Sol sounds like an exfoliator that I would like to try. Thank you for the clear description of both, they both sound worthy of trying, but I'll go woth the Touch in Sol Mission Complete first. Thanks!!

Very thorough review. I havn't tried any exfoliating creams I have sensitive skin and tend to get red spots. Would love to try this one. As an older adult I feel my skin is dry and dull. I'm looking for something to clean out and rejuvenate my skin!! Thanks

Wow, love this thorough review! I’ve tried different exfoliator a but haven’t found “the one yet!”

I currently don't exfoliate but would like to start.

I enjoyed this review! I believe I would like the In Sol exfoliating scrub. My skin is also dry but I don't use exfoliator. I use Peach & Lily's Cleansing Cream n Essence. I just recently purchased the elf skin cream.

I use nu skin facial exfoliator. I think for your skintype it may be a good option, it's gentle enough to scrub debris and leaves a nice and smooth texture afterwards.

  • Stephanie

I have sensitive skin also, so I will definitely give this a try! Thanks

I currently use a revlon. Exfoliator brush with whatever face wash im using at the time. The brush works so good. The exfoliator is soft enough that it doesn't feel rough but still gets all the dead skin off my face and lea es it feeling so smooth. I would love to try the in-sol exfoliator

Great review,. I like exfoliates that are gentle. I currently use Intelligent Nutrients Micro Polish.. It is so gentle you can use it everyday. I also use Paula's Choice Exfoliating toner which is very gentle. I think The TIS would work for my skin because it seems to be gentle without irritating the skin.

I use a Clairsonic type brush with a gel vitamin c cleanser
