Get UN-Ready with Me - my PM Skincare routine

🧖🏼‍♀️ Who's ready to get unready with me this evening!?

Here are my current skincare products:
🥥 Kopari Coconut Cleansing Oil: I ALWAYS double cleanse when I have a heavy makeup day. Cleansing oil or balm is great to break down the makeup. I make sure to rinse well. 💦
🧼 Bioderma purifying cleansing foaming gel: After the makeup is broken down, I was my face to cleanse my skin and remove all traces of makeup and other impurities. I use this cleanser with my PMD Clean Smart Facial Cleaning Device at 7000 vibrations per minute the waterproof antibacterial bristles help deep clean the skin.
💦 After cleansing, I use my Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Resist 24 Balancing Lotion its a softening toner and it feels nice and soft on the skin.
👵🏼 Because I am in my late 30's I have started implementing retinol into my nighttime routine. The Inkey List Retinol is my current retinol of choice. It's not harsh on my skin. Always remember to gently pat the product in and then lightly smooth into the skin for maximum absorption.
👁 To continue on the retinol train I use Dr. Brandt 24/7 Retinol Eye Cream. I use a tiny pea-sized amount and disperse it evenly between my eyes and lightly tap the product in. |
🧴 For moisturizer, I use a duo of the Bioderma Shine Control Moisturizer and Bioderma Corrective Care for Enlarged Pores. I apply the shine-free moisturizer all over my face and neck. With Corrective Care, I apply only in my areas of concern; which would be my t-zone and chin.
🌹 I finish off my nighttime skincare with the Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil. It's a wonderful rose-scented facial oil to help promote collagen production and bring hydration to the skin.

I hope you enjoyed getting unready with me this evening and feel free to share your own nighttime skincare routines! 💋

Great video. Your routine is definitely working for you because you don't look like late 30's at all. Keep it up beautiful woman. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great review Candace! This is a really good routine with beneficial products! My night time routine changes by the day but there are a few products that stay the same: I don't wear makeup anymore but I do wear sunscreen so I always start off with a double cleanse, so the first cleanser is Physicians Formula Matcha cleansing balm, then second cleanser is Cerave hydrating cleanser, then while my face is still damp, I will apply Sukayaka Suhada Toner then Hado Labo Preminum Essence, then, ( 1-2 × a week) The Ordinary Glycolic Acid, PCA Ideal Complex Restorative Eye Cream, The Ordinary Copper Peptides (alternate this every other night with tretinoin 0.05% prescribed retinol), Iunik Beta Glucan, Cerave PM Moisturizer

My make up remover is Purity by Philosophy. Beside having it as a facial cleanser it is gentle and non irritating to the eye area. Good review.

Awesome products and great video! My favorite make up remover is the Hyaluronic Marine Melt away Cleanser by Dr. Dennis Gross. It's isn't harsh at all and works great at removing oily make up. I also like Osea Ocean Cleanser with algea especially on heavy make up days. To make sure I don't break out from insufficient cleansing, I'll use Murad cleanser.

Nice video. I need to try some of these products and brands! My go-to makeup remover so far is Vinopure Gel Cleanser by Caudalie, it cleans very well and effectively. I use this for heavy makeup and use other products like CeraVe for lighter makeup. I avoid breaking out by deeply cleansing each and every area so no debris or dirt is missed.

Cool video! My go-to makes up remover is the Neutrogena oil free make up remover. I use that every night to remove my make up, then I wash my face with Clean and Clear face wash.

Watched your nighttime routine skincare. Your facial cleansing got to smell pretty good after all the applications. Liked your review for the following products in your post. All helpful tips.

great night time routine. I do a 3 step one which consists of eye make up remover, cleaning wipe and the facial cleanser.

Great review!! I have the night ritual of washing my face with water them applying zone 360 rejuvenating night serum to my face and neck. I spend a lot of time in the sun so I then apply PUREBIOLOGY total eye cream to my eyes PB neck firming aream and retinol moisturize to my face. I then apply Collective Laboratories activating serum to my hair to help spark hair growth which I need.

Great review 👍 and video Candace! I start my evening cleansing ritual by using Pond's cleansing cream to remove makeup or any other impurities. Then I use AHA 8% Peeling Serum which contains 8% glycolic acid which works to gently exfoliate dead cells and helps with hyperpygmentation. This formulation leaves your skin smoother, clearer and even-toned. Next is Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream. And there you have it for now. Thanks for sharing.

Great routine! I just turned 37 yesterday and only during quarantine did I really start taking good care of my skin. Now I’m addicted to skin care and self care and my skin looks better now than it did in my twenties. Thanks for sharing it’s nice to see what other women in my age range are doing for their skin.

All of these products look amazing! Honestly, I’ve just jojoba oil to get the makeup off my face, then do a double cleanse. I use a face wash bar (the one I currently have is not a fav so no need to mention what it is haha) then I go in with Cerave Hydrating Face Wash. I then finish with toner (again not enjoying the one I have) and use SkinFix Barrier+ Cream. This isn’t my favorite line up as I have some meh products. I’m on the hunt for my holy grails!

I use a good micellar water to take off of makeup on heavy makeup days and then follow up with a cleanser! On light makeup days, I go straight with a cleanser. I avoid breakouts by never missing a day! The minimum that I do is take off my makeup with a makeup wipe.

My night 🌛time skin routine I always start of by removing my makeup with a wipe . I have always used the Burt bees brand but recently I have noticed after using my skins felt and looked a little irritated... so I’m not sure if as I’m getting older my skins becoming more prone to irritation & sensitive ... so I’m on the hunt for a new brand . 🧐 Then I wash my face with tea tree face wash🥰 I absolutely love tea tree face wash from the body shop! Then I put a dab of cera v eye cream on , and a night time moisturizer 🙂

I need to put more care into my own skin. Thank you for the great post!

My makeup remover routine is pretty much the same on heavy and light makeup days. I'm looking for a good makeup rover because I'm currently using dial soap to wash first then sometimes I use the Lavido hydrating cleanser after dial soap just to get anything the soap left behind and sometimes I use the Murad Acne Control Clarifying Cleanser it keeps acne down and it does hydrate it cleanses it kills bacteria that cause acne and it helps with my acne scars and open big pores. It also helps with oils. If anyone can reccomend a great p

I live my nightly skincare routine, it's my "me time" and I take my time and enjoy myself

  • Stephanie Esparza

Great reviews of products! Honestly when I wear heavy make-up I double cleanse and use garnier wipes then use a facial cleanser to get rid off remaining residue.

  • Meep_LovesYew

Honestly for makeup remover I use coconut oil, lotion, baby wipes or any type of cleanser or lastly dove soap. To avoid breaking out I always make sure to never sleep in my makeup and if i dont wash my face that night I wash it the next day

Great PM skincare routine, my routine varies depending on the amount of makeup, how late it is, and specific skin needs, I always use Lancome's Bi-Facil to remove my waterproof mascara, on a light makeup day I use Makeup Eraser, and always go for Philosophy's Purity, on heavier makeup days I include the Clarins gentle foaming cleanser, or the Chanel one that is super creamy, Clarins toner, Davines Essense, or just jump directly to Dior's Super Potent Serum, or Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, or Sunday Riley High Dose Retinoid Serum depends what I feel I need more at the moment, Clarins Eye Contour Gel usually, and night cream could be a pinch of La Mer when my skin feels extra dry, for the extra dry and tired days I use La Prairie Skin Caviar, most nights I use Lancome's Renergie Multi Lift, or the Hydra Zen also by Lancome. Thanks for a great review!

  • Rose Katz

🌺🌺I usually use the Garner skin active micellar water make up remover. It works pretty well, but doesn't get off all my mascara sometimes. I will definitely want to try this to take off my make up. Thanks for the great review! 🌺🌺

  • Jennifer Miller

I use 10 6 10 as a toner/cleaner face and pore tightened in the morning. Then again at night.I also due Noxemia face make up remover too!

  • Cait Burrie

Great video! You went a little bit too fast for me when you showed what product you were about to use. Lol it was just hard for me to read the product fully, no offense meant. My routine varies depending on how late it is and if I’m bathing before bed or in the morning. I just got in the double cleansing train. I’m currently experimenting with Neogen pore mousse, but before that I always use Garnier micellar water. Then, I exfoliate, pat dry and apply Proactive green tea moisturizer, Murad eye cream, and acne free spot treatment with benzoyl peroxide.
