Interested in all things K-Beauty? Ohk!
Hi everyone! This review is a bit late because I've been in a bad lupus flare and unable to get out of bed most days so I've really not been feeling well. However, I was finally feeling a little better and was able to test out all 5 products from the OhK! Tester Bag that I received. OhK! has been a brand on my wishlist for some time now, and I've looked at their products many times when I've been in Ulta.
I received a total of five products, including:
Chok Chok Moisturizer
SOS Skin Clarifying Leopard Mask
Brightening Watermelon Mask
Jeju Mineral Lava Sea Water Hydrogel Mask
Peppermint Foot Mask
Starting with the Chok Chok Moisturizer:
This moisturizer is a product that I've been wanting to try for so long, and I was so excited to be able to finally incorporate it into my routine.
Formulated with skin healthy ingredients including hyaluronic acid, shea butter, rapeseed oil, ruby powder, citrine extract, & quartz, there's no wonder this baby is called chok chok (aka dewy, luminous skin).
Upon opening there is a noticeable yet light floral scent that isn't overwhelming. It has a semi-dense consistency and feels very moisturizing upon applying, but not overly heavy on the skin.
It has a silky, creamy texture that my dry skin drinks up. I am in love with the glow I get after using this, and how healthy my skin looks! I've collected crystals my whole life so I love when brands incorporate them into their products.
Next up is the SOS Skin Clarifying Leopard Mask:
The mask is made of an ultra soft microfiber fabric and comes soaked in a lightweight gel that smells similar to a mix of tea tree and flowers. The leopard print is super fun and a really nice touch to the overall experience.
Key ingredients: Panthenol, centella asiatica, willow bark extract, honeysuckle, green tea, & tea tree.
Upon applying it feels incredibly refreshing, tingly, and invigorating. Like no other mask I've ever tried before! The sheet mask itself was pretty big and definitely covered my entire face easily.
After removing, my skin felt much less irritated and so soothed. The only downside to this mask is it was the most sticky feeling of the three masks, however it did dissipate once I did the rest of my routine.
Next is the Brightening Watermelon Mask:
I was super excited for this mask as I love all skincare containing watermelon and vitamin c. Formulated with effective antiaging ingredients and vitamin c to help brighten, nourish, and refresh skin. I have dull, dry skin so this mask was exactly what my skin has been needing!
Key ingredients: centella asiatica, matricaria flower ectract, sodium hyaluronate, & watermelon fruit extract.
This sheet mask comes soaked in a lightweight essence, so much that it dripped off the mask and down my chest so it was a bit messy. It has a pleasant light watermelon scent which I'm a huge fan of.
While wearing, the mask felt incredibly soothing and hydrating, like a glass of water for my dry skin. Upon removing my skin felt so hydrated and looked a bit brighter than before. It didn't leave my skin sticky or tacky feeling either.
Next is the Jeju Mineral Lava Sea Water Hydrogel Mask:
This mask was the one I was most excited to try, and for good reason. It's made of hydrogel and has two pieces which is very different than most masks I've used. It has an iridescent gold-green sheen which is absolutely beautiful.
Key ingredients include: prickly pear, gotu kola, chamomile, green tea, & centella asiatica.
This is a somewhat finicky mask to get out of the pack and onto your face, as it is very slippery and comes in two parts-- one for your eyes and nose and the other part for the mouth. I luckily did not rip or tear any parts but I was worried I was going to.
Once the mask was on my face I immediately noticed the cool gel feel which was really nice and a different experience compared to most sheet masks. It didn't slip or fall of my face during the 30 minutes I left it on, and once I removed it my face was so hydrated and had such a nice glow! My skin felt so nice long after removing.
The only downside is I feel it didn't have nearly enough essence in the pack, compared to the other two masks. I wish there would have been more because this truly is an amazing mask.
Last but not least is the Peppermint Foot Mask:
I had never tried a foot mask before but was always intrigued by them, but I'm not going to lie I was still a bit apprehensive going into this.
Upon opening the package there is a strong scent of peppermint which I love. Inside there are two large sheets that are connected, which you need to rip in half to reveal the inside of each foot mask. There are two layers: a protective layer on the outside to prevent leakage and another layer on the inside filled with the liquid mask. Each one has a clear adhesive tab that lets you adjust the mask to the size of your leg and provide secure closure so it doesn't slip off.
Now I'm just going to go ahead and say that I hate feet so this experience was an odd one for me. It was weird feeling my feet encased in this liquidy substance-- first I was kind of unsettled by it but the more I wore it the more I enjoyed it. It is a liquid type substance but it's not watery, it almost resembles a very runny lotion.
After removing, my feet feel so moisturized and rejuvenated! I have systemic lupus as well as fibromyalgia so my whole body is affected by pain, including my feet. This is definitely something I never knew I needed, but now will be adding into my routine for sure.
Thanks so much Prismpop for sending me this wonderful bag of goodies!
