Klairs Nourishing Eye Butter ( review )
This nourishing eye butter from klairs is not only power packed with peptides and antioxidants but also contains sunflower oil which is rich in vitamin A and E which helps protects the skin around your eyes and helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. This eye cream has a soft butter like texture but is still light weight and absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. It is very moisturizing and rich but doesn’t leave an oily feel to the under eye. This eye cream has fantastic absorbency and will lay really well under makeup without leaving your makeup looking cakey. It leaves the under eye feeling moisturized and hydrated all through the day and actually helps prevent concealer from creasing making fine lines so visible. As far as benefits are concerned the key ingredient in this eye cream are:
SUN FLOWER OIL: Sunflower oil is rich in Vitamin A and Vitamin E which help in promoting skin health. These vitamins act as antioxidants. They help in regenerating damaged skin cells and getting rid of the acne causing bacteria. The oil is light and non-greasy and thus, it gets absorbed in the skin easily without blocking the pores.
VITAMIN A: Vitamin A helps to speed up healing, prevent breakouts and support the skin's immune system and it promotes natural moisturising - which means it helps to hydrate the skin effectively, giving it a radiant glow. It assists in promoting and maintaining a healthy dermis and epidermis; the top two layers of your skin.
VITAMIN E: Vitamin E helps support the immune system, cell function, and skin health. It's an antioxidant, making it effective at combating the effects of free radicals produced by the metabolism of food and toxins in the environment. Vitamin E may be beneficial at reducing UV damage to skin.
PEPTIDES: Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as building blocks of proteins such as collagen, elastin and keratin. These proteins are the foundations of your skin and are responsible for its texture, strength and resilience.
ANTIOXIDANTS: Antioxidants protect skin by limiting the production of free radicals, which can damage skin cells.
This eye cream contains peptides which are (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1,Oligopeptide-29, and Oligopeptides-32). This eye cream also contains caffeine which constricts the blood vessels and helps reduce inflammation and puffiness. It also tightens and brightens the skin and helps reduce wrinkles. They are a lot of other fantastic ingredients which I will list below.
My experience with this eye cream was a very positive one. I love the texture of the cream it is rich and moisturizing but also light weight. One of my favorite attributes about this eye cream is that it absorbs so quickly. It melts into the skin and leaves my under eye feeling hydrated, plump, and refreshed. Because the cream absorbs so well it lays phenomenally well under concealer. Which is something I really appreciate. Some eye creams tend to affect makeup application in a negative way. It causes the makeup to cake and not lay on the skin properly especially in the eye area. So discovering that this eye cream prevents that from happening makes me a big fan. As far as results are concerned I believe this eye cream definitely gets the job done. I mean it’s no miracle worker lol. But I have seen an improvement in my under eye area. My dark circles have become less prominent, I have noticed my fine lines minimize, and my under eye continually feels hydrated. I don’t really have any issues with eye puffiness so I can’t really comment on that. I have been using this eye cream for about two weeks now and I’m already seeing improvements so believe me when I say I am beyond excited to see results after using it for a substantial period of time. I do believe this eye cream is worth a try it provides results and has some fantastic ingredients. This eye cream is vegan & cruelty free and has a really nice formula. I personally believe one of the hardest things to find in skincare is a good eye cream. Most provide empty promises and I think we have all been there when I say that spending a large amount of money on an eye cream and not seeing any improvement after using it for a period of time sucks. So I’m happy to be able to share my experience with all of you and it be a positive one. This just goes to show that you don’t have to spend 60$,80$, even a 100$ on an eye cream to get the results you need.
