My First Week Using Collective Laboratories Activating Serum

Today I started using the Activating Serum with Ginseng and Biotin from Collective Laboratories that I received this month from PrismPop. I suffer from thinning hair, due to a lack of thyroid hormone (Hashimoto's), and have been looking for years for something to help stimulate new growth. Imagine how thrilled I was to be chosen for THIS tester bag!

As you can see from the photos, my hair is fine and frizzy, and is definitely thinning. Look at that bright white scalp! So, following the instructions in the enclosed pamphlet (I would have been clueless without that!) I towel dried the roots of my hair, and applied one dropperful to my scalp, along the part, moving from the front to the back. (This serum does NOT smell the greatest, I will say that much. It also looks sort of disgusting. Lets just hope it works!!)

Once the entire dropper-ful was dispensed onto my scalp, I used my fingertips to gently massage it in, I worked it in for several minutes. Then I applied my Living Proof to the ends of my hair, and blow dried it as usual, paying extra attention to the root area there at the part where I had applied the serum.

As you can see from the photos, it dried beautifully, and my hair feels wonderful. It's good to note, I did not experience any of the "warming sensation" that the pamphlet warned I might feel. My scalp actually feels pretty wonderful, nice and clean, with no residual oily feeling whatsoever.
