Not Too Foamy Face Wash that Adds Hydration

Hey guys it’s Nick again with another product I love and want to share with you.
It’s the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleanser.
My dry skin has been struggling through long days in makeup on set as an actor 🌵
I’ve been experimenting with my skincare routine and have really enjoyed this cleanser.
I wanted something that could prep my skin for the day without stripping it.
This cleanser is gentle enough for the morning and has the added boost of hydration, which is like an extra layer of protection for my skin. 💧
The fact that it’s basically a 2-in-1 is great because who’s got time for multiple steps? Not this guy.
It foams just the right amount.
I think this will last me a really long time!
Thanks for watching!
Let me know in the comments what cleanser do you use for your skin type?
Have a great day,
Nick Taylor

This looks like an excellent cleanser for my oily skin! Not too much of a foamy mess and it looks like you only need to use a tiny smidge to do the job!

  • Renae

I normally prefer a foaming cleanser but your review intrigues me.

I like using cleansers that draw out Impurities like Sea Algae or Dead Sea Minerals. Something that can go deep into my skin cells. ❤

Hey everyone. Thanks for the video Nick ( I’m convinced Neutrogena is going to offer you a contract kiddo). So I’ve been using Cetaphil forever. A while back I was told that foaming cleansers aren’t for me because of my dry, sensitive skin - we can add acne, discoloring and fine lines but I try to forget about the latter😉. When it comes to facial washes and skin care in general I think a person’s lifestyle/routine (like how many steps and much time you are willing to devote to your regimen) plays a big part. The fact that this acts as a 2 in 1 makes it right up my alley. Hope everyone is hanging in there. Sending you all good vibes!👍🏼

This sounds really great and I may have to try it because I also have dry skin especially in winter and spring. Can I buy this at Ulta?

  • Shannon

Either is fine with me but prefer foam on easy days not alot of makeup, and regular if I have a full face and need a bit of oomph to remove everything

Love the video!! I like a facial cleanser that is a little foamy but not a lot. I love for my face to feel fresh, clean, soft and hydrated after I cleanse it. Haven't been able to find one yet that does all these things, lol. I would love to try this one!! Blessings & stay safe!!

Great video. I prefer both types of cleansers. I like foam for days when. My skin is acting right. Lol . I like non foaming cleansers for other days when I need a little more cleaning. Like a scrub cleanser.

I've heard of this product but haven't actually tried it, it looks great! I have super dry skin, and I prefer foaming cleansers. I use Neutrogena ultra gentle daily cleanser in the foaming formula, but it sometimes dries out my skin.

I really like to try this foaming wash. I had tea tree foaming wash that I got in my ipsy bag and it added hydration and helped reduce acne scarring I love it. I got to purchase somemore but I would like to try this one and see if it does any better with hydraTion or the same. Thanks for great review!

I wanna try this myself. I am using a cleanser I got from Aldi for only 2.99 and pet me tell you, it is really good. It leaves my face clean and moisturized. I would love to try this to comparison the two.

I wanna try. The video was not working but I read your post and I'm looking for a face wash for my dry skin face I can't use bar soap it really dry's my face

My personal favorite is the oil free anti aging cleanser by marykay it's very light almost no scent and keeps my face clean while keeping my ph balanced.

Hi nick thank you for your honest opinion about neutrogena hydro boost cleanser I'm glad to hear you liked it and that you feel it works for dry skin. Do you think this would still work for oily or combination skin?

  • Lisa Navas

I like Dove, but I have used Neutrogena products and I do like their products,

A little foam makes it visual that you are cleaning you face

Foaming cleansers seem to rinse better for an “at the sink” wash whereas liquid cleanser gets deeper into my skin for a better clean. I’ve tried the hydro boost moisturizer and I was back and fourth about it and eventually quit buying drugstore products at the suggestion of my esthetician.

I have dry sensitive skin. It doesn't matter to me if a cleanser is just needs to not irritate my skin! I go really old school and use a dove bar or ponds old cream.

That sounds like an excellent cleanser! I prefer to have either a cream cleanser or a foam one for example, CeraVe cream to foam cleanser has both forms that I like and it has an excellent feel to it. I have a dry skin and it works very well for me.

I’m definitely going to have to give this a try!!!! I am currently using st. Ives watermelon hydrating cleanser because that’s all they had at the local store but I usually use Tatcha the deep cleanse and I couldn’t wait for shipping so I just picked up the st Ives one while I was out picking up medicine. I recently switched to the hydro boost moisturizer from Tatcha dewy skin cream because it was so good so now I feel that I 100% need to try the cleanser too. Thank you so much for your informative review!!! It’s much appreciated!!!

That cleanser sounds amazing! I have combo/dry skin that can be really acne prone. I like to rotate between the Dr Brandt Microdermabrasion exfoliating scrub and the Fresh Rose Cleansing Foam and my skin has been doing great. I always follow up with a serum and moisturizer as well, it helps me prevent dryness and sensitivity. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ I am definitely interested in trying this one out next!

That is my type of has a pump !!! must have for me why ? Because we have a choice and I have learned that I will even pay more for the pump. I love that it foams, cleans and hydrates. These types do last longer and they do not leave anything behind. They clean and do not leave residue like an oil or cream very well might do.The Neutrogena hydro Boost line has been a favorite of mine. Right now I am finishing up my insta natural vitamin C cleanser which is similar to this one except it has a more standard type pump so I do not even have to pick the bottle up. I use a facial brush every time..even over my eyes. Your lids need exfoliation too many lines do not teach you that but I like it. Very nice review I would buy and use this but may switch the pump top with the one I have. I do that a lot kind of like switching a mascara brush I love into a formula I like better....cleaned of course. Thank you !!

The type of cleanser that I prefer is Neutrogena oil-free acne wash original scent and sometimes grapefruit. It's light and gentle on my skin and quickly foams up during the cleansing. I always use Neutrogena make-up wipes And as a moisturizer I always use philosophy because I have the best results. So that's my dream team for my clean and pore free face, I have been accustomed to this exact regimen for quite sometime and have always been happy with it, especially considering they are all reasonably priced for just about anyone.

I have been using Olay revitalizing foaming face cleanser it is very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft, I have a hard time with finding the right cleanser for my sensitive skin, but I like the Neutrogena line products, thanks Nick for the great review, I really want to try this out

Biiore Rose Quartz+ Charcoal is great for oily skin like mine. It lathers nicely and your do skim feels revived from the day after using.
