CODE RED!!!!DAMAGED HAIR..
If you haven’t looked into olaplex then, YOU SHOULD!! For the past two years I have been struggling with hair damage from dying my hair every 3-4 weeks. I’ve dreamt of having auburn hair for a long time and once I made the change I couldn’t make myself go back. Just the thought of growing it out makes me cringe. lol
This makes me think of that saying. ” You always want what you don’t have. ” What that saying is missing is fact that there will always be a sacrifice. So, my sacrifice is my hair health for the color. I was okay with it for a while but the damage on my hair has gotten to bad to handle. Olaplex sounded like a great solution. After doing a lot of research I decided to give it a try.
Yes I have tried many hair masks on a weekly basis but nothing gave me quicker results then olaplex. Although there is a diy hair mask I’ve tried that gave me very dramatic volume and made my hair feel pretty close to what I had after olaplex. You can check it out here.
As you can see my hair is not a pretty sight. Yes this is how bad my hair looked before Olaplex. It had no life and probably had no idea gravity existed… It would just stick right up into whatever direction I pointed it at. Very stiff, dry, and brittle.
I followed the directions on the bottle. The directions said to get your hair wet and apply the olaplex on slightly towel dried hair. It said to leave it on for a minimum of 10 minutes, but I decided to leave it on for 1 hour.
I also put a towel over the bag to keep the heat in. (I was told it helps).
And these were my Final results. A lot better. Right? It feels so soft. Oh and the bounce is back. I think my hair had a gravity awakening.lol. All in all I am very happy with the results. PRICEY but worth every penny. I purchased mine at a local hair salon , but its also sold online at www.olaplex.com for $28 last time I checked.
