Plant a Tree with The Organic Skin Co.
Thanks to PrismPop I got a wonderful chance to try Task Force Nine Calendula and Turmeric Cream, Cheeky Lip Pods and two different colors from The Eyes Have It. The Organic Skin Co. is an organic makeup and skin care company. They plant a tree for every product you buy. So it's a win for you and a win for our Earth.
This organic cream is infused with nine great active ingredients such as aloe vera, jojoba seed oil, lemon peel oil, calendula, turmeric, rosemary, honeysuckle, vanilla and seabuckthorn. This cream is very hydrating due to the aloe vera and jojoba. You get a nice vanilla smell when you apply it. This cream is light and not greasy. The tube is smaller than others but it's a mighty cream. The bamboo cap is a nice touch. A tube of this cream is going to cost you $29.
Another great product from The Organic Skin Co Cheeky Lips Pods in the color Desert Storm. I used this as a blush and lipstick in both looks. This is my first time using cream blush. I'm a huge fan now. I love this sand, tan color. There is no pink at all. It's very different but it works very well with my skin. Goes on smooth and no cakey feeling. Using it as a lipstick was more matte than I like so I added a little gloss it to. Then it was perfect and it lasted a long time. A refill pod will coat you $18.
I got two colors to try Silhouette and Greenstone. I have used a few cream eyeshadow. These are very good quality. There is no cakiness like others I have used. Very high pigmented and very blendable. The eyeshadow pod container is so cute with a bamboo lid. A pod will cost you $22.
My first look was with the Silhouette color. I did two looks only one made it. The first look I put the shadow over the whole lid. This was way too dark to me. The second one is the the first picture of me. I used the Silhouette as a smokey eye with pink on the lid. It makes a great smokey eye and blends very well.
My second look is with the Greenstone. This color of dark green is very earthy. It is a little dark so I had to use a lighter green in the inner corner to contrast it. Again I did a smokey eye. This dark green brought out my green eyes.
Thank you PrismPop for giving me a chance to test and try out these great products from The Organic Skin Co. Go get some great products and plant some trees.
Let me know what you think. Which look would you try?
