Trying luxurious shower products - sandalwood scent, my fave 😌

Sandalwood is by far one of my favorite scents, and it brings me back to my childhood when my parents used to take me to the temple. Fun fact: sandalwood is sometimes burned in temples, and is symbolic of cleansing the spirit. When Necessaire sent me these three products, I was instantly comforted just at the smell of them. Though, when I actually started using each of them, what stood out to me beyond the scent was the texture of each of them.
The body wash is not extremely thick, and spreads well on the body. It isn’t like a lot of other soaps and body washes you’ll see that have a super thick texture, and that’s something I definitely like about this product. It gets foamy almost immediately after mixing it with water.
The exfoliator does have a lot of microbeads, but isn’t thick like a lot of clay based exfoliators. Again, the consistency is thinner than usual products, and I’m all here for it. Though it doesn’t deeply exfoliate, it does get rid of the surface grime, and has a super soothing effect.
While the first two products weren’t as thick, the body lotion definitely was. Oh--and this is the one product that wasn’t scented! It was extremely rich, and does take a lot of rubbing to get the product on. But the result is amazing; it leaves your skin nourished for days on end. I actually got by not applying body lotion for the next 2 days and didn’t see a patch of dryness anywhere!

Learning about textures and skincare is something that comes less natural to me, but for this reason I’m extremely curious when I receive a skincare product. It isn’t my area of forte, and this leads me to want to discover more about it. I usually go the extra mile to try to understand a skincare product further than just using it and saying “it’s nice” or “it works.”

I hope this review got you thinking a little bit more about skin care and what your products do for you! See you guys in my next post.

-MS

Great review and I like the way the products looked as you put some on you hands and spread them around. The wash looked like it lathered good and exfoliant had small scrub beads which I like. Might have to give these a shout.

I wanna try this product, this looks so awesome!!

This sounds amazing .... I like to use any of my favorite shower gels from bath and body works or a body scrub from soap and glory. Afterwards I follow with a body oil and massage into my skin. The best way to relax and unwind 😌

Sounds heavenly! Great review! I like bubble baths with scented candles lot on a shelf nearby and music playing when I like to relax. As far as subscription boxes go? I like to pick up my own stuff instead of having the company pick things for me. My needs change every month so I like to pick what I need for that month. I love my subscriptions that I have right now! Ipsy is my favorite so far!

Interesting video and good demo showing you with all three products with great combination needs. Three step routine for cleaner skin.

These products look great! I don't have any specific bath essentials to make me feel relaxed. Just having a nice bath with whatever bubbles or oils I have on hand is good enough for me.

These products sound lovely! I love the smell of sandalwood.

Awesome and fresh video 🚿🚿... For me also the aroma matters and I want my soap to smell heavenly 😌 I generally love rose 🌹 and and keep buying rose bars from amazon my favorite one is Pre de Provence French soap 🧼 I also like to use body wash from BBW ...and sugar scrubs are my favorite because I have lots of bumps in my legs and upper arms and I need to exfoliate a lot to get rid of dead skin! Lastly I am using a retinol cream on my body because it helps with the bumps πŸ§–πŸ»β€β™€οΈβœ¨

i use a loofa sponge and an essential oil based shower gel with strong fregrance and moisturizing effects such as lavender. i obviously would prefare a subscribtion box that allows me to chose because i am picky about my wants and needs and even though they are affordable i am still paying it for it. i would not appreciate having produts that i dislike or didnt even want in the first place, such as boxy charm and ipsy, infact there are alot of [roducts wihich i really wanted in my box, and i wanted all the products of my choice, rather than having just one thing that i like and the rest i didnt like.

Absolutely, wonderful love the textures they look amazing 😻 I have the little bumps all over my skin and I try to exfoliate but they never go away.

I agree, Sandalwood smells divine. I am also in love with the smells bergamot and lavendar, so if I see a quality product with any of those scents, I'm in! All three of the above scents are so relaxing, especially before bedtime. So nice to take a lovely shower or bath and get into clean sheets. My personal favorite body wash is L'occitane cherry blossom. It has a beautiful scent and makes skin clean and so soft. I like that it doesn't leave behind any residue yet manages to make skin glow.

Pushed comment by accident again. Anyways, I like to use a body wash that smells good n has a good lather. Every other day, I with use a scrub to exfoliate that dead skin off. Thanks for sharing.

Great review πŸ‘! I can't believe you let yourself be taped in the shower. Now, that's commitment. You young ladies get right into the grit of your reviews. I am soo impressed. I like to use a body wash

You got me at sandalwood! I also grew up with this scent, my mom used to burn sandalwood incense sticks all the time, I need to try these! One of my favorite relaxing bath products is the bubble bath & wash by Babo Botanicals in Lavender & Meadowsweet for sensitive skin, it's free of icky chemicals, hypoallergenic, paraben free, made with pure clean organic ingredients, smells like pure Lavender, very calming, it also has Argan & Coconut Oil, and Shea Butter among others, all organic, leaves the skin super soft and moisturized.

OH MY GOSH! I seriously cannot say enough good things about Necessaire products. They are without a doubt AMAZING!! I am head over heels IN LOVE with their "body serum". I use it in my face. Yes, I said it, MY FACE. I apply Necessaire's Body Serum to my freshly cleansed still DAMP face (trapping any excess water loss) as a humectant moisturizer and then follow it up with a more occlusive moisturizer. The body serum has loads of hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and so many other powerful yet CLEAN ingredients (seriously just read it's incredibly impressive ingredients label). It literally combines what would have been several serums into one product and in one application. Speaking of, I love the consistency of this product. It goes on very nicely and does not leave the skin feeling greasy OR oily AT ALL but rather plump and hydrated. PLUS, it is fragrance-free! This is an absolute MUST for all of my facial skin care products (at least the ones that stay on the skin i.e. serums, moisturizers, etc.). I am a strong believer that fragrance doesn't belong on your face, doesn't provide any kind of benefit, and can contribute towards the future allergic reaction issues with any kind of added fragrance whether it be synthetic or NATURAL. Some may consider this product to be expensive at $45 per bottle but you have to put it in perspective how large this container is and how much product you get out of it. The bottle is ginormous because it is meant for the body!!! It's literally five times the size of any of my other facial skin care product containers. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a little extra hydration or "oomph" to your skin. It is also perfect for those who have to use drying products (like me) such as retinoids, hydroquinone, or benzoyl peroxide.

I love the smell of sandalwood bodywashes. I have tried them in the past and loved them. Suave has a very nice Sandalwood bodywork that moisturizers your skin pretty well. The smell is amazing too. I would love to try this brand so I could compare the two.
