The A+ Mask for Emergency Recovery⚠️| Dermalogica Multivitamin Mask

Sometimes I just accidentally stay up till 3…..and wake up with really bloated and angry skin. This is my go-to mask after staying up late!

💊🍊 Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque by Dermalogica 💊🍊
- This mask is designed for “stressed” skin! Check out this section from the Dermalogica website that breaks down the powerful ingredients:
Powerful, concentrated vitamins A, C and E, and Linoleic Acid help restore skin showing signs of damage and aging while enhancing barrier properties. Antioxidant vitamins C and E help shield skin from Reactive Oxygen Species (free radicals). Nutrient-rich Algae Extract helps moisturize and soften skin while Pro-Vitamin B5 helps nourish damaged skin. Botanical extracts of Licorice, Comfrey and Burdock soothe and calm skin while increasing resilience.

💊🍊 The Basics 💊🍊
-Texture: Light yellow thick cream
-Scent: Slight medicinal scent (no artificial fragrances or colors)
-Size & price: $59 for 2.5oz

💆‍♀️My Experience🌞
🕒I use this after I wash my face in the morning as a “wake up” mask. It only needs 10-15 minutes so I can just go make coffee and make good use of my time. I use this mask to target dullness and redness.
🌝Application - I like to apply till it’s at least 50% opaque. An overly thin layer can really affect the results (I’ve done it, not worth it)
💆‍♀️Sensation - There is almost no particular sensation after I apply this mask. If I have REALLY dehydrated parts it stings for a little bit then the sensation goes away
🥕Wear - The mask turns orange after 15 minutes (the ingredients oxidizing to doing it’s job) but doesn’t dry down or anything.
🧼After - Wash off with warm water (it takes some effort to wash off) and dry face. My face feels a lot more supple, sensitive areas feel drastically soothed (cheek and forehead), dull areas are brightened (around nose and mouth).  Makeup applies smoother on top and any breakouts do not feel irritated.

⚠️Wear sunscreen after using vitamin-heavy skincare because SPF is crucial to preserving the benefits of antioxidants like Vitamin C.

🌞Overall 🌞
I highly recommend this to people who need an emergency recovery mask. It is a bit pricey but I only use it once a week at most, and the results are 100% worth it to me. They do sell a 0.5oz version for $15 on the website  if you want to try it out before investing in the full size. But ultimately for me, having a good sleeping schedule and drinking lots of water beats any skincare.

This review sounds good and I would try it because of the vitamins it contains which I always look for but first I have to use up what I have.

Great review 👍! I also like to use a 10-minute mask to regenerate my face. It is Generation Clay Urban Defense Purifying Pink Clay Mask. It is made with Kakadu Plum which wakes your skin n makes it feel so soft.

Oh this sounds really nice! I really don't use much recovery products. At least not that I've noticed lol. Texture wise, I love Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich Cream! It's a little on the thick side when you apply it but it absorbs easily and is very hydrating. Plus it smells amazing!

I love Dermalogica products, but I've never tried this one. Might have to lol

Looks like a great texture!! My favorite texture is a gel like texture for moisturizers. It helps keep my skin hydrated without the greasy/oily residue. If my skin is stressed, I use more calming products. I have a sensitive skincare routine that I do to keep help give my skin some relief. I try to use Cica or CBD products as well.

when i wake up with stressed skin, I usually start with putting eye gel masks on my eyebags while I eat breakfast. I then proceed to washing my face with Rodan+Fields Unblemish facial wash. Tone my skin with Thayer's Lemon Astringent and finish with Rodan+Fields Unblemish Dual Acne Treatment! It's the perfect routine for de-stressing my skin!

Want to try this cream as well. Multivitamin Recovery Masque got a lot of recovery vitamins to get good results. I have used Moisture Rich and Intensive Moisture creams in a jar by Avon for years. These are great for the same reason. This one your introducing is very high in price for most of us. Thanks for sharing.

my favorite skin care product is the oh k glow facial cream i got from prismpop. it instantly plumps and radiates my skin. and i see the results longer term too. my skin care remedy when i wake up with stressed skin will be using rice water for my skin as riv=ce water is amzing for wrinkles, tired skin and droopy skin. it plumps, softens and brightens my skin. i will love to use this product so i can review before and after results with pictures.

Great review and I totally believe this recovery masque really works. It has awesome ingredients. I like how it turns orange. That lets you know when it's done. Thank you for this wonderful inspiration.

If I wake up and look and see my skin starting to look dull or a few pimples coming up I go to my Murad Resurfacing treatment and then follow up on that with Mural oil-free Water gel..and it's a iced blue color that feels just like a water cream and smells so light and fresh..

When I wake up with dry stressed skin I tend to go for the Evercalm Ultra Comforting Resque Mask by REN, I like it because it works right away, and has a soft moisturizing texture without being oily, I haven't tried this Dermalogica, but it has been in my bucket list for a while, time to give it a try, thanks for the great review!

I didn’t realize that SPF was specifically important after vitamin heavy skincare! Thanks for the info. When I wake up with stressed skin, I like to use a cotton cloth and warm water to calm down any problem areas- which in my case, is usually, a few small pimples. Then I like to rehydrate my skin with The Ordinary’s 2% Alpha Arbutin + Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I notice that the formula helps to clear out pimples on my face even though it’s not marketed to do this! 😉
