๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿš This Did Wonders For My Dry/Combo Skin! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿคฉ First, I was so excited to receive this product to test and review! It exceeded my expectations big time and I can't wait to share with you all my experience over the past 5 days! ๐Ÿคฉ

๐Ÿš Tatcha The Rice Wash Product Details ๐Ÿš
From website: "A gently effective, cream cleanser that washes away impurities without stripping skin, leaving your complexion softer and more luminous."
Price: $35
Scent: Distinctive smell of citrus and flowers
Texture: Thick off-white cream
Amount to use: very small almond-sized drop
Highlights: vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, pH balanced

๐Ÿ’œ My Personal Experience ๐Ÿ’œ
Before using the product, I was dealing with some redness on my cheeks (caused by dryness) and a few pimples on my face (caused by oiliness and over-exfoliating). I immediately opened the product and used it. I was surprised by how thick the product was and how it worked into more of a milky consistency than a foamy one (shouldn't have been surprised though since its inspiration came from leftover milky rice water).

Overall, after 10 uses, I have seen a stark reduction in redness and oiliness, my pimples are gone, and my skin is much more radiant. After each use, my skin immediately feels soft, plump and smooth.

Regarding makeup removal, it does a very good job but isn't perfect! I decided to follow up one wash session with micellar water to see if any makeup was left behind and a small amount of my waterproof eye makeup was in fact left behind (although much less than with other face washes I've used in the past, including Philosophy Purity).

๐Ÿ—ฃ Final Thoughts ๐Ÿ—ฃ
I am personally sold on this face wash (and this company)! I absolutely think the $35 price point is worth it given:
-the amount of product you need to use per wash versus the amount of product in a bottle
-the results I have personally gotten from the product
-the Tatcha company supports girls' education with their "Beautiful Faces, Beautiful Futures" program
-I can easily purchase it directly from Tatcha or at a local Sephora

๐Ÿ˜˜ Thanks for reading! I appreciate any feedback ๐Ÿ˜˜

I tried it and it worked, however, I did not buy again due to the price. Will use in the future once I can afford it.

Right! You have beautiful skin anyway. I go through this routine with skin too. I don't always exfoliate and agree not too much. Especially liked your beautiful composite of examples for using The Rice Wash. Here's to Philosophy Purity. PH balance. Want to try this out.

So informative reviews! I have been using this cleanser for a week so far. My skin is combo, acne prone, so far it didn't break me out, didn't dry my skin either.
