Which is the best Touch in Sol Primer? 🌸💦☀️
Thank you Prism Pop and Touch in Sol for giving me an opportunity to try out these wonderful full sized products! 🤗
Here's my take on the Touch in Sol tester bag.
The Mission Complete Mild Scrub & Peeling Black Gel Mask (4.05 fl.oz) arrived at the perfect time. Loved the sleek teal packaging, it's refreshing clean scent and mostly, how clean my face feels afterwards. 💦 Just rub a little product onto dry skin and it starts to work it's magic. This exfoliator is gentle yet powerfully effective at removing all the oil, dirt and grime on my face (remember I've been gardening 😆) Love love this, just need to remember not to use it too often as it can be drying.
The rest of the products were different types of multi tasking skin care/primers so I wanted see how they performed as such. The only other product I used is the same cc cream (IT cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ color correcting full coverage cream SPF 50+) with my fingers.
Here's the order of the Touch in Sol primers:
1. All in 1 Beauty Aid Cream (2.53 fl. oz.) It contains ceramide NP and natural extracts of centella asiática. It has a matte finish, applies like thick lotion with a calming scent (lavender). On the package: "non oily formula is designed to help your skin to be perfectly ready for long lasting make up." Reminded me a lot of The Organic Skin Co.'s Calendula and Turmeric Cream...both are soothing and healing type of creams.
As Primer on me: blame the hot weather, the cc cream didn't last, it melted off quickly...😐 Right now for me it is best as an awesome moisturizer, part of daily skin care rather than as primer. 😌 👍🏻
2. No Pore blem Prime Essence (1.01 fl. oz.) Infused with Calendula Officinis flower extract. It has a clear liquid consistency, hardly scented. It's supposed to be the last step in skin care, right before foundation. It says on the packaging that it "tightens pores and keeps skin silky and smooth for better and long lasting make up."
Me: again blame the weather, it was so hot and sunny that the cc cream melted right off as I wiped away the sweat. 🥵 I don't think I can give a fair opinion of it as a primer, however as skin care, I give it a thumbs up👍🏻
My impressions of the primers previously mentioned were made after having used them once and in very hot weather conditions. I need to keep trying them on different occasions/weathers to give them a fair review. I do feel that they are better suited as skin care (that needs to be used for a certain length of time to be effective..which is true for any beauty product). This means I'll need to do a update review in a couple months 😉
3. Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm (1.05 oz.) smooth, yogurt like consistency, applies like butter. It has a glossy finish, delicately scented of flowers. Don't you just love the cute rose gold packaging? It's so lovely 🥰.
Me: This primer/balm gave me such a dewy/glowing finish! It was hard to tell if it was from sweat or balm though😆😂. I do love the "glass skin" look trend so I'm going to keep trying to make it look pretty. I personally liked how this balm performed as a primer the best. The cc cream looked great on me..minimal pores, hydrated healthy glow. What do you think? 💕
4. No Pore Blem Primer (1.01 fl. oz.) Smooth & Pore covering, infused with green tea extracts, has a matte finish. On the package: "an airy, smooth make up primer that covers pores and areas of uneven texture, giving a perfect and seamless coverage for all day wear." This definitely felt like primer, did I detect silica? Yes it has silica. It gave me the most matte look of all. Felt a bit thick/heavy going on. And it has the most heavenly sweet scent ever!😍
Me: This is the most legit primer of all, does what it claims, covers up pores, mattifies and gives a smooth even texture..plus it smells soo good. I had to use face oil to remove it since it wouldn't budge with regular facial cleanser😲. Personally, I prefer the dewy look. This primer is great for special events/professional photos/videos. It makes you look flawless.
My final look at the end of the video is made by using primer #3, aptly named Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm, which I vote as my most favorite 💕🌸
