Tatcha was born from Victoria Tsai's chance encounter with a modern-day geisha that changed her skin and life. She learned that the foundation of a geisha's beauty ritual is effective and simple, rooted in a trio of powerful nutrients—green tea, rice, and algae. These classic rituals have been advanced by science to give you brighter, smoother skin.

Kinda pricey, but I just keep coming back for more. It comes with a little scoop so you don’t have to use too much. Not too greasy for oily skin, but ok for other skin types as well. Feels so nice. Not a packaging girl, but it’s so pretty. 😍 I just wish it was a little bit more affordable. If it get a bit too greasy in the middle of summer when I’m at the peak of my oiliness, I sometimes switch between this and their water gel formulation.

Great For Oily Skin

I've only bought the mini size of this cream and it's such a great cream that I would love to buy the full size one but it's just so expensive. But seriously, this is one of the best high end moisturizers around. I have oily skin and it's hard to find a good moisturizer that doesn't make my skin feel sticky but these are one of the few ones that hydrates my skin and makes it smooth without making it sticky. Another thing I love about this product is the packaging, it includes a spatula to get the cream without touching it which I thought was a great addition and I wish more companies included spatulas if they have this kind of packaging. Overall, it's a great moisturizer for oily skin and although there are great dupes out there, if you can afford this, I would suggest just getting the Tatcha Water Cream.

Really nice cream on dry skin!!

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about this. You can get a whole bottle of lotion for under five dollars and this small container was for 68 DOLLARS! It has a really high price point. My hands are really dry, so I put on a little bit on my hands and put socks on my hands so it won’t smear off while I sleep. It feels very luxurious, so I tried not to use too much so I can have many uses from it. By the first use, I noticed my hands were not only softer, but they weren’t cracked! This was my first time trying Japanese skincare because my friends recommended it to me. I realize why those products have such a high price point! The smell is really soothing. It is really easy to use, just moisturize the cream on dry places. The packaging is so cute, I instantly fell in love with the cute container with the small gold spoon. I have been using this product for about a year now and it is still lasting. If you make sure to not use a lot, then a little goes a long way. I would give this cream a five out of five because even though the price point is high, it works great on dry skin and that’s why I bought it!

One of the Best Luxury Moisturizers

This is one of my favorite moisturizers. It is light, absorbs well, lets skin breathe, and leaves it feeling baby soft. It works well under a makeup and actually can be used as a primer too. It also provides enough moisture for my dry skin.
